Rapid

Zip vertical awning

Integration at the service of functionality and protection.
RAPID is designed for perfect integration into the perimeter beams of SUPERB bioclimatic pergolas. Easy access to the awning housing by simply opening the external cover makes assembly and regulating operations rapid and simple.

RAPID is unique in its category because it is fitted into the profiles of the SUPERB bioclimatic pergola by means of special stainless-steel brackets with adjustable width so that the awning can be flush with the wall.

It protects from bright sunlight, prevents glass and patios from overheating, shelters from wind and rain as well as providing privacy from peeping eyes; its many screening abilities, excellent wind-proofing and natural integration make this an indispensable option.

Integration is the real strong point of RAPID, whose maximum dimensions are a generous 6000 mm in width and 3400 mm in height. The beam of the SUPERB bioclimatic pergola houses a 93mm diam. reinforced aluminium winding shaft that ensures excellent fabric tautness over the entire width. The fully retractable 38.5 x 30 mm double-cavity bottom bar tightens the zip sides of the awning by inserting two weights concentrated at the ends so that the fabric is evenly taut and attractive.

All profiles are in 6060 extruded aluminium alloy, with standard SEASIDE pre-treatment and powder coating.

The zip groove is 27 mm deep and designed to conceal the welding between the zip and fabric; two standard brushes cover the gap and prevent the entry of foreign bodies.

Fully retractable double-cavity bottom bar with side caps and gasket, featuring innovative design. The two cavities for the weights are completely independent of each other and the groove containing the fabric weld. Its ultra-compact dimensions of 38.5 x 30 mm make this bar one of the least voluminous in its category, without compromising functionality, because the weights are optimally inserted at each end so that the fabric is evenly taut over its entire width.

Reinforced 93 mm diam. aluminium winding shaft that can be defined the heart of this new product. The solution is an important innovation in vertical awnings as the larger diameter guarantees greater speed for narrower versions, as well as better tautness for wider awnings.

Tubular 230 V 50 Hz motor with adjustable mechanical limit switch.

Standard SCREEN or TUFF (mosquito net) fabric, as per our fabric swatches.
